Tribute to Reynald Comeau

An unforgettable member

The Lachine Badminton Club would like to pay tribute to one of the very first members of the club, Reynald.

A unifying spirit

For those who know him, Reynald is remembered as always smiling, unifying and generous. He was the racket shuffler of choice! Reynald had the gift of going to find people who were alone on the bench and integrating them into the group. Many members continued to come to the club because of Reynald.

A badminton and sharing enthusiast

Some were lucky enough to play badminton with him for over 20 years! He was even our photographer at some of our tournaments, voluntarily of course. Reynald was a bon vivant, his good humor was contagious.

A huge void

We all felt the void created by Reynald’s absence on our courts some time ago. Reynald, you have been our ray of sunshine for so long, now we wish you can continue to shine up there. ✨
