An unforgettable member

The Lachine Badminton Club would like to pay tribute to one of the club’s very first members, Reynald.

A unifying spirit

For those who knew him, Reynald is remembered as always smiling, unifying, and generous. He was the racket shuffler of choice! Reynald had the gift of reaching out to those sitting alone on the bench and bringing them into the group. Many members continued to come to the club because of Reynald.

A badminton and sharing enthusiast

Some were lucky enough to play badminton with him for over 20 years! He was even our photographer at some of our tournaments, voluntarily, of course. Reynald was a bon vivant, and his good humor was contagious.

A huge void

We all felt the void created by Reynald’s absence on our courts some time ago. Reynald, you have been our ray of sunshine for so long, and now we wish you could continue to shine up there. ✨
